Director, R&D Advisory
Liz is a Director in KPMG’s R&D Advisory team with responsibility for leading a national team working with industry and universities on research engagement and commercialisation.
Liz has has more than 15 years’ experience in research, incentives advisory, taxation, project management, advocacy and commercialisation advisory. She has worked with a large number of clients on R&D and commercialisation projects, with a keen focus on biotech and mining. Prior to this, Liz worked in a number of research and advocacy roles both in Australia and the UK.
Liz holds a PhD in Neuroscience, MBA (technology), and a Bachelor of Science (Neuroscience/Biochemistry). She is currently a board member for the Perron Institute for Neurological and Translational Sciences and Chairs the Institutes Commercialisation Advisory Committee. She is also a committee member for the WA branch of AusBiotech.
