National Managing Partner, KPMG Enterprise
For Rob, the highlight of working at KPMG is the insight it gives him into corporate Australia, the Government and the community. He is further inspired by the belief that he can “turn knowledge into value”. Long-term relationships mean everything to Rob. “I find client relationships constantly evolve to become a combination of personal and professional.” This reflects his view on how business should be done. “It is easy to be 3-year minded when what you want is a relationship over a 5 to 10 year period – or decades.”
Prior to his role as KPMG’s Chairman of Victoria and National Managing Partner, KPMG Enterprise, Rob was Partner in Corporate Finance and National Head of Mergers & Acquisitions. Before that, he developed his knowledge of cross-border and domestic divestments and acquisitions through several years in investment banking and a 5-year stint as a corporate lawyer which saw him working in the United States.
Outside of work, Rob is happy to focus on family and fitness, spending quality time with his wife and children, visits to the gym and a yoga class or two.
