Michael Alf is a Director within the KPMG Enterprise Advisory practice, with extensive experience in global, regional and local roles in IT leadership, consulting, transformation, business development and general management within the services business.
He has broad exposure to retail, energy, utilities and FMCG with particular strength in logistics working across all modes from mail, express, logistics, freight, rail, ports and corporate services (procurement, HR and finance). His previous career was with the Federal Armed Forces in Germany as an officer, attaining the final rank of Captain.
Michael has also had extensive digital experience. Examples are his two experience-based books on Digital Marketing Your Firm Everywhere Now and Virtual Summit Formula. He has run a dozen virtual summits (virtual/online events) with more than 10,000 participants and more than 100 speakers on various topics. He is also host of the Disciplined Disruption Podcast. The Podcast has thought leaders and experts from around the world who discuss topics at the intersection of Digital Disruption and Personal Transformation.
He has proven experience in developing and growing services businesses and executing large scale transformation with client organisations. He has worked across geographies, cultures and sectors leveraging a people-oriented leadership style to drive high performance.
