Law 27,191 established as a goal that by the end of 2017 8% of the country's electricity generation comes from renewable sources. That percentage increases to 20% by the end of 2025.
Argentina has begun a process of diversification of the energy matrix where renewable energies will play a preponderant role considering the goals established by Law 27,191.
In order to achieve these objectives, during the first year of Mauricio Macri's administration, the RenovAr Plan was launched, the framework within which the first tender (Round 1.0) was carried out, exceeding participation expectations, almost doubling MW / H.
Taking into account the reaction of the market, and in order to encourage infrastructure investments, a second round was launched, giving the opportunity to non-awarded projects, to improve their proposals, in Round 1.5.
Join us at this online conference to discuss the results of the first calls for tenders, discuss opportunities and unresolved challenges and their implications for business and investors in the industry.
