For the first time Albania is part of KPMG’s Pulse of Economy survey which reached out to 759 business leaders across Central and Eastern Europe to paint a comprehensive picture of the economy in 2017.
Almost 50% of business leaders in Albania envision company growth through improved financial management
Improved financial management is a key factor for company growth according to almost 50% of the respondents in Albania compared to the CEE average of 23%. At the same time, in terms of organisational development, more than half of the business owners are not planning notable changes in headcount (53%) or changes in salaries (60% or the highest result in CEE) in 2017.
Infrastructure should be on top of the government agenda
The sentiment of fostering infrastructure development is strong with 44% of Albanian business leaders, or the second highest result in the survey, stating that it should be the top priority on the government agenda compared to the CEE average of 18%.
