Yusuf is an Advisory Partner specializing in IFRS and related accounting issues. He is an IFRS subject matter expert and advises on complex IFRS and accounting issues. He assists in implementation of new accounting standards, provides accounting opinions on deals and other transactions and gives structuring advice. He also provides training and workshops to clients, regulators and boards. He represents KPMG at the Global Revenue/Provisions Topic Team. Yusuf previously worked as a project director at the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) in 2004 -2005, where he was responsible for members advice and projects in standard-setting and implementation. Prior to this, Yusuf was an accounting lecturer and course coordinator at the University of Witwatersrand (Wits) in 2003.
