Khalid Ansari joined KPMG UK in 1980 after which he was transferred to KPMG Oman in 1986. He has been Partner in KPMG Oman since 1995 and Partner in Charge since 2013. He is the Partner responsible for providing audit services to banking and financial services clients in Oman as well as the Partner in charge of Advisory Services in Oman. Khalid has engagement responsibilities for a number of diversified clients in the Sultanate of Oman including some of the large owner managed business and publicly quoted companies and a large number of Government owned entities. Khalid has also advised the Government of the Sultanate of Oman in the privatization of power companies, sea and air port, and public transport company. He has also advised Capital Market Authority in the development of code of corporate governance and the proposed new commercial companies’ law.
