Erich Meier

Erich Meier has been with KPMG since 2003, including a period between 2008 and 2010 at KPMG in Melbourne. Previously he worked for a bank in various positions. He specializes in auditing and advising pension funds and completed the post-graduate program DAS Pension Fund Management at IFZ in Zug in 2013.

Erich is a member of the KPMG Pension Fund and its investment committee. He is a speaker for internal and external events and is responsible in KPMG’s internal training in the area of occupational benefits.

At a national level, Erich is a member of the Occupational Pensions Sub-Committee of EXPERTsuisse, the investment committee of the federal LPP Committee of the Federal Social Insurance Office (FSIO) and the 'GEKO' joint committee. In addition, he audits industrial and trade companies as well as not-for-profit entities.

Erich also advises investment managers and companies on various aspects of occupational benefits. This includes advice on investment regulations for pension funds or the application of IAS 19 Risk Sharing.
